Noah's Ark STEM Academy
Students combine problem-solving skills with creativity to build some pretty amazing things! Egg drop vessels, stomp rockets, and bridge building are just a few examples of the hands-on mechanics needed in the Maker’s Space classroom. Bubbling mixtures, glow-in-the-dark masterpieces and fractions with food will make these two subjects a piece of cake!
Art on the Move Design Academy
Discover, explore and create as we introduce students to various forms of art and how to keep their favorite pictures in one place. We will explore art in motion through liturgical performance, exercise dance, and a host of ensemble activities.
AgDiscovery Science Academy
Gain insight into the many different faces of Agricultural Science! Getting dirty in the garden, cooking with Professor Popcorn and hanging with Thoroughbreds, are all part of the AgDiscovery Science Academy! (Must have completed grade 3-5. Report card required.)
The Nature Academy
It's a Bug's Life!, Where The Wild Things Are! and Animal Planet aren't just stories you've read. It's the environment you live in every single day. At the Nature Adventure Outdoor Academy, participants become explorers as they investigate their natural surroundings and learn to understand the relationships of wildlife and the ecosystem. Environmental "digs", fish and wildlife expeditions, and lessons on conservation help to give a greater appreciation of just how important our environment is to human existence.
The Kentucky Horse Park Mustang Troop is a great opportunity for kids to learn about the equine industry and the role of horses in our community. Stable management, horsemanship, horse care, horseback riding are all part of the 2-week, outdoor, animal experience at the Horse Park. Join the AgDiscovery Science Academy to participate in this mini-camp.
