Commonly Asked Questions

When you arrive at Consolidated Baptist Church, you will be met by one of our friendly greeters who will direct you to the sanctuary, classrooms, or the children’s registration kiosk. If your children are shy, they can accompany you to the adult service, but most children thoroughly enjoy our children’s ministry. As you enter the sanctuary, ushers will provide a warm hello and help you find a seat.

People from all backgrounds, ethnicity, and age groups call Consolidated their home.

Our service begins with spirit-filled music, and our worship team of choirs, musicians, and dancers will lead you in praise. During the service, some people may be more demonstrative as they clap and sing praises to God, while others may exhibit a more quiet praise. We strive to do what we think blesses God and brings people closer to Him. You will also hear a dynamic message from the Word of God that will inspire and encourage you to live according to the Scriptures. At the very end of our service, we have a time of invitation. This time is set aside for anyone who wishes to accept Christ as his/her Savior or to unite with our church.
The messages from the worship services stay true to God’s Word, but also connect with people where they are. The teaching at Consolidated leads people to connect with God and grow in their faith.
Our church has a contemporary, energetic, and dynamic musical style that leads people into the worship of God. Our focus is on passionate celebration and giving God praise and honor through our collective worship. Different styles and genres of music are employed in order to create an atmosphere that invites people from every generation, ethnicity, and background to worship God
We encourage people to dress comfortably, which could mean different things to different people. Some prefer to dress up, but others prefer to dress casually. We do not judge people based on how they dress. We simply ask that you dress modestly.

We like to acknowledge our guests, but you do not have to say anything. We want you to be comfortable and enjoy the service
During the 9:45 and 11:30 services, we have a nursery for children ages six weeks through four years old. Additionally, at 9:45, we have Sunday school classes for children from pre-school through high school, and we have Children’s Worship and Youth Worship at 11:30.
All of the messages are available on CD.
At the end of each worship service, an Invitation to Christian Discipleship will be extended. At this time, you may come forward to make your profession of faith in Christ as a candidate for baptism. If you have already acknowledged Christ and accepted Him as your Savior, you can unite with our church by Letter, Christian Experience, or Watch Care. During this time, you will not have to make a public statement. However, one of our wonderful decision counselors will escort you from the sanctuary to another room and talk with you about your decision. We have a four week New Members Class that will answer questions you may have about our church and about how you can help us share the Gospel.
